How do I find scholarly articles?

657 views   |   0 Vote this question as useful.   0 Vote this question as not useful.   |   Last updated on Jan 16, 2024

To locate scholarly articles, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Select a library database. Some good options include Academic OneFile, Academic Search Premier, and JSTOR.
  2. Once you have chosen a database, look for a check-box that allows you to limit your search to "scholarly", "peer reviewed", or "refereed" journals. All articles in JSTOR are scholarly.
  3. After checking the box, type your search terms in the main search box and click "Search"

How much does it cost to print?

646 views   |   0 Vote this question as useful.   0 Vote this question as not useful.   |   Last updated on Jul 01, 2022

Black & white printing is 10 cents per page. Color printing is 50 cents per page. Students get $15.00 each semester for printing/copying. The balance will appear as $0.00 until you release your first print job, at which time your $15.00 will be credited to your account. You can add money to your print allowance online through myNSCC or at the Bursar's Office (bring the receipt to the library). Do not add more money than you need, as it will not roll over to the next semester!
