To locate scholarly articles, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Select a library database. Some good options include Academic OneFile, Academic Search Premier, and JSTOR.
  2. Once you have chosen a database, look for a check-box that allows you to limit your search to "scholarly", "peer reviewed", or "refereed" journals. All articles in JSTOR are scholarly.
  3. After checking the box, type your search terms in the main search box and click "Search"
